Tornielli palace

Tornielli palace dates back to the 18th century and has been the seat of the Borgomanero Town Hall since 1900

The 18th-century building has been the seat of Borgomanero’s Town Hall since 1900. It belonged to the family of the Tornielli counts, a dynasty that played an important role in the history of Borgomanero and Novara from 1200 onwards, when the Tornielli family-built Vergano Castle. Vincenzo Tornielli, who lived between the 19th and 20th centuries, was the last mayor of the town.
