St. Alexander’s Church

The St. Alexander’s Church allows a glimpse of an ancient Gothic structure

It was restored in the 1920s and 1930s, but an old Gothic structure is still visible. It actually seems that the church was already documented in the 14th century.

According to Molli, this religious building is linked to the protection of livestock. Cardinal Taverna ordered ‘the demolition of the altar’.

Bartolomeo Falcone, a priest from Borgomanero, endowed it with a bequest for the celebration of feasts and masses in the 18th century.
